Great Value as always
In case this comes back into stock and anyone is wondering is it worth getting here is a brief review. My parcel arrived yesterday and while I've unpacked it I've not yet properly listed or measured everything so this is a first reaction from memory!
If you’re looking for something to make dresses or blouses this is not the bag to order. The fabrics are a little quirky but as I make costumes, it’s interesting for me to think what I can do with what I’ve got.
The first piece I unpacked was a very long piece (approx. 6 metres) of black stretchy velvet with a yellow/gold floral print – I would have happily paid £15 for this so I was immediately happy. I can see it becoming a long jacket or a dress. I also have a length of dark green felt-y fabric – will make great breeches.
I got the fabric on top of the pile in the picture in three different colourways – black and gold, red and pink, blue and white. It’s stretchy and the second colour is a sort of short frill running across the fabric. Never seen anything like it but I can see it becoming 1980’s skirts or dancers dresses.
I’ve a long length of black net with some black applique flowers – again, great for costumes. Two lengths of quilted fabric that I can see becoming gillets.
There are others but I’m not near the bag and so can’t refresh my memory. Am I happy – yes! (And now off to review the equivalent Household bag)
