i bought this material for a corset i was making, and i used the reverse side for the front o fmy corset. i've had no problems with it what so ever. its strong and a beautiful rich colour.

I need fabric in duchesse satin that is 'hard' . and will keep shape - kind of like taft - is this what I am lookong for?

This satin is soft and does not have the coating that a "Taft" fabric has.
