Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how wonderful the course with Felicity Owens was (Klimt - embroidery/painting). She is a fantastic inspirational tutor and the surroundings, equipment and centre to get a lovely lunch and purchase any of the materials needed (and a whole lot more) are brilliant. I came the next weekend to purchase some more materials and saw Felicity again doing a free demo and that was excellent also. Please, please keep the courses coming!

Initial problem with the order
Hi, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who helped process my order so quickly yesterday, I really do appreciate it! The fabric is even better than I was expecting and I am chuffed to bits so thank you for solving the initial problem with the order and then processing it so quickly so that it all arrived this morning so I had it before I leave on Sunday(6 metres of navy taffeta). Visit to your Hanley store
Having shopped by e-mail for many years I was at last able to visit your Hanley store with my mother. We would both like to say how nice it was to enter your shop and the staff be genuinely interested in what you want to buy and the hobby of crafting. I just wanted to contact you to express my appreciation for your excellent customer service; I placed an order last week, and one of the fabrics I ordered went out of stock; I contacted your customer services phoneline to change my order, and then changed it again the next day,and despite all my changes, your customer service representative was friendly and helpful. I received updates on when my order would be delivered (including a one-hour time slot, which is fantastic, and meant I didn't have to wait around all day!), and I am really pleased with the fabrics. I'm really impressed with your service, and will definitely be ordering from you again, and will happily recommend you to friends!

Fascinator Day with Lillian Chapman
I enjoyed the Fascinator Day with Lilian Chapman at the Mostyn workshop. Although I did quickly fill in the feedback slip I felt I should let you know just how much I enjoyed the class. I'm not particularly artistic but Lilian passed on lots of tips - I came home full of ideas and enthusiasm and three items completed. Lilian also gave us a glimpse of what we could do on the Vintage style fascinator day. Thank you to Lilian and hopefully I'll be able to attend another class in the future. Margie Edwards

Concept of fabric shopping by weight
Hi Abakhan Fabrics, I was born and brought up in Liverpool. My Mum introduced me to El KILO about 30 years ago. Visit to Abakhan from Scotland
I feel after being a very regular customer at your Mostyn Store for over 30 years I must comment on the pleasure I always have visiting you and the excellent cafe (especially the Prawn sandwiches,always fresh). The staff are always pleasant and obliging and go out of their way to help. I would add that after a visit with long lost relatives from Scotland in June showing them Abakhan was the highlight of their visit to Wales. (mother and three daughters all avid sewing and craft people) so much so they are back next month can't wait to return to your shop and fill the car boot once more, thought it was a 'Wonderland'. I do apologise if I have rambled on but after my latest visit at the weekend I felt I had to congragulate Abakhan for their continued value and pleasurable shopping when so many other companies have failed to retain these values.

Workshop - Use of the Sewing Machine
Felt that I had to let you know how much I enjoyed the Workshop I recently attended on the use of your Sewing Machine on Tuesday 6th September at Mostyn, The Tutor was very good, and is a credit to your Tutoring Staff. She was very patient and spent time with each of the pupils. We had a good laugh and made to feel very welcome. I was thrilled that I had something to take home, completed, a great achievemnt for us all. Once again many thanks for a fantastic workshop.
