Workshops & Courses

Availability

All Bookings are made subject to availability. Confirmation will be given that your chosen date is available.

Payment

A 50% deposit must accompany all bookings. The balance will be due at the beginning of your class or course. Online bookings must be paid for in full at the time of booking.

Material & Equipment

Materials will be provided where stated. Equipment is also provided where required, but remains the property of Michael Abakhan Ltd.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be made in writing 28 days prior to the start of the course or workshop. We are unable to accept cancellations after that date. Online bookings may be cancelled in accordance with the above, or within seven days of booking. All cancellations must be made in writing. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a course, all participants will be notified as soon as possible and offered either an alternative date or a full refund of any monies paid.

Children

Where classes have been specifically designed for children, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Exclusions to the ABAKHAN Sale

Discount:

  • Is available to personal customers in store at the advertised times only
  • Is not available online
  • Applies to stock items only
  • Will not be applied to items retailing at 4p or less, irrespective of the total quantity purchased
  • Is not available in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer
  • Will not be applied to previously discounted or reduced goods

The following are also excluded:

  • Dress Patterns
  • Made to Measure Service
  • Non Stock Items
  • Workshops & Courses
  • Gift Vouchers
  • Food & Drink items at Mostyn, North Wales
  • Postage, Packing & Handling Charges where applicable
  • Any other products or services clearly marked in store

Discounts for Schools, Colleges & Students

Abakhan Fabrics Hobby & Home offers a discount to the above groups or organisations, subject to the following terms and conditions.

  • 10% Discount applies to full priced goods only
  • Minimum purchase is £5.00
  • Discount is valid for cash or card purchases only
  • The relevant ID must be produced prior to the start of the sale as discount will not be given retrospectively

Discount is not available on the following:

  • in conjunction with any other offer
  • previously discounted goods or goods on offer
  • online at www.abakhan.co.uk
  • dress patterns, made to measure service, workshops & courses, gift vouchers, food & drinks, non-stock items
  • on any products or services as determined by the company from time to time

Misuse of the discount facility will result in withdrawal.

Abakhan Fabrics Hobby & Home reserves the right to amend or withdraw the discount without prior notice.

Identification Required

Schools & Colleges

Signed and dated letterhead stating that the person is authorised to buy on behalf of the school or college, plus one other form of personal photo identification.

Students

Current student photo ID – e.g. NUS card, or Current college or course registration document PLUS 1 other form of personal photo identification.

Discount will not be allowed without the relevant form(s) of documentation or identification and will not be given retrospectively.
