Learn how a good fitting sleeve depends greatly on the fit of a bodice and how to adapt patterns to ensure this. Discover techniques to ensure the sleeve is set in without pleats or gathers crimping using bias strips or crimping. Then learn how to redraft a basic sleeve to create new designs such as a petal sleeve or a capped sleeve and how to add design details to sleeves using half-scale patterns. This workshop uses both sewing and paper pattern alteration techniques.
