Covid
We want you have a wonderful experience when attending our classes; we also want you to be as safe as possible. We will be updating our Covid-19 information nearer the time of the class start date in line with current regulations at the time.

Do I need to bring anything?
Janome machines are provided for each class, please see individual class details for more information on what you will need to bring along. All adult classes include a free hot drink.

Can I bring my own sewing machine?
Unfortunately due to Health & Safety legislation you are unable to bring your own sewing machine.

Do I need any experience?
All our classes state a level; see individual classes for further information.

How many people will be in my class?
Each class can take up to a maximum of ten people except where stated. Classes are for ages 16 and over.

Are there any on-site facilities?
Our North Wales store has a Café serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, hot drinks, cakes etc. If you would like to pre-order sandwiches please do this prior to the start of your class. The workshop is now located on the main first floor (the old sewing pattern room) we do have a lift however there is no access for wheelchairs due to steps going down into the department.

Liverpool and Shrewsbury have a hot drinks machine in the workshop and places nearby to buy food. Alternatively you can bring along a packed lunch. Please note at our Shrewsbury store the workshop is located on ground floor and welfare facilities are unavailable at the moment due to Covid restrictions.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Please do bring along a print out of your ticket if the registration does not match the attendee.

Discount Cards
Each participant on the classes will receive a 10% Discount Card* which can be used in any of our stores. A discount card received on a one-day class is valid for two weeks and one received on a two-day class is valid for one month.

What is the refund policy?
Refunds will be offered in the event of the event being cancelled. If for any reason you find you are unable to attend then refunds can be offered up to 30 days through Eventbrite. No refunds within 30 days of the class date. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a class all participants will be notified 7 to 10 days prior to the class date and offered a full refund.

Paid car parking is available at Stafford Street, Devon Street & Kempton Street. On street parking is free and unlimited.
Public transport links are nearby, and the venue is easily accessible on foot from Liverpool City Centre.
Nearest train station - Lime Street(less than 10 minute walk)
Nearest bus stop - London Road (less than 5 minute walk)
Disabled access available around the back of the building, please contact the store in advance or ask a member of staff for assistance. Toilets are available in the workshop.

Shrewsbury Store
