Janie Crow Persian Tiles Crochet Blanket.

In 2013 Janie Crow designed a project for her crochet club using Persian and Moroccan textiles and architecture as inspiration.

This is a theme Janie wanted to revisit, as the colours and shapes work so well in crochet and it was something she was constantly asked for, a project that echoes the original design.

The project is relatively simple to make, simpler than the original.

There are just four different motifs within the design, the main octagon piece (16) is surrounded by variations on granny squares and triangles in shades of blue and cream. 

Blocked measurement: approximately 115cm (45 1/4in) x 115cm (45 1/4in).
